The annual 2 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group/CFB/ASU Petawawa Military Family Day was held on Sunday, June 25 at the Dundonald Hall Complex, featuring special guests Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governer General of Canada and Commander-In-Chief of the Canadian Forces (right photo left), and Chief of the Defence Staff General Rick Hillier (right photo right). The day?s events included (below) static and dynamic military displays, a barbecue, live bands and activities for children. The family day was an opportunity to celebrate the military community, and for the Governor General and CDS to interact with families and CF personnel.
