Under the supervision of the Assistant Recreation Director, the Recreation Programmers have impressive backgrounds and practical experience working with all ages, behaviours, and disabilities. We are committed to including all children and youth in programs regardless of ability. Our staff is here to make every visit enjoyable and rewarding to the best of their ability. All staff is First Aid certified and expertly trained to deal with emergency situations.

PARTY AT THE PLEX!
See below for our party packages and treat your child to a special day at the Recreation Complex. Our themed based party packages make it hassle free for you.
All parties are based on 10 children. Minimum two weeks notice is required for all party bookings. Our complimentary party packages include:
Two hour usage of facility and non-stop fun Large decorated room for gift opening (according to theme) Party facilitator to guide themed activities Invitations based on theme Goody-bags for participants Hot dog or pizza lunch with refreshments Themed birthday cake (peanut/nut free) Craft and activity supplies No worries or work for you!

Safari Adventures 
Come and explore our wild animal safari with friends and family. Enjoy our exciting jungle party games and decorations while keeping hands tucked in during the journey!
Crazy Cars & Wild Wheelz 
Start your engines! Bring your speed demons for an afternoon spent at Victory Lane. Ride our plasma cars across the finish line while participating in other fun interactive games.
Hawaiian Hula 
Aloha! Experience the magic of the tropical islands in our luau party paradise. Bring your surf shorts and grass skirts for a festive time beneath the palm trees and sun. All party participants also receive lei's!
Party like a Pirate 
Ahoy Matey! "X" marks the spot with this complete Caribbean adventure for your birthday Captain. Join in the fun as we walk the plank toward our pirate party games. And a pirate party wouldn't be the same without pirate eye patches!
Your Royal Highness 
Hear ye, hear ye! Our royal celebration will leave your little princess feeling like royalty as she dons her crown and takes her proper place on our throne. All party princesses and princes will also get their very own crown!
Sports Spectacular 
An awesome afternoon filled with gym activities for the sport fanatic. We have a variety of sporting equipment available and tons of room to play. Hang Ten with your team of friends and go the distance with our activities and goody bags. This active party involves a circuit of fun and fitness activities in the gym that gives party participants the chance to play sport-like games regardless of ability.
Additional Party Package Information: All activities including themed games and crafts are age appropriate. Please ensure children have indoor running shoes for gym activities. For safety reasons, we do not allow children to wear just socks. Please ensure that children are supervised until the start time of your party when the Party Facilitators may begin their activities. The party room is equipped with small tables and chairs to suit the size of the participants. Activities and games will be scheduled for 1-hour as the lunch and gift opening will take the remaining 1-hour. Food choices will include pizza or hot dogs, pop or juice, and nut free chocolate or vanilla cake. You may decide this upon registration. Number of guests may be confirmed or changed up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled birthday party. If there are boys attending the Princess Party, please inform staff up to 48 hours prior to ensure we can modify the treat bags and activities.
