The CFB Petawawa Personnel Support Programs (PSP) organization exists primarily to provide recreational programs and activities to improve the quality of life of the military community.  Our programs, facilities, and activities are also open to the public.  Through the acquisition of a Community Access Card (CAC) Military and Civilian participants benefit from all that we have to offer.

Over the past few years, CFB Petawawa has developed excellent fitness, sports and recreational programs and activities.  The addition of new facilities in the form of recreational complexes, a renovated gymnasium and pool facility and a new twin-rink arena has certainly contributed to the high degree of fun things to do within the base.

In the past PSP has fostered a discount program that provided CAC members discounts at local businesses for products and services.  The program has approximately two-dozen businesses participating.  In an initiative to increase the attractiveness of the CACard to more of our target market by offering many more local and regional discounts from businesses PSP has now developed the CAC Partners Program

The CAC Partners Program is a re-focus and re-launch of a business discount program that is now a cooperative marketing initiative that will continue to allow discounts to CAC members, and allowing PSP to place small P.O.S. displays in their businesses.  In return the business owner receives the benefits of  increased customer flow from CAC Members that are attracted by the discounts that are offered.   In addition PSP provides effective advertising for the participating businesses.

Benefits for the Participating Business.

Advertising Benefits

Customer Flow Benefits

Participation in the CAC Partners Program allows your business to benefit from increased customer traffic.  CAC members are attracted to the discount incentives that your business offers them.

Access to a Niche Market

By participating in this program your business gains access through advertising to a niche market of over 12,000 persons in the local area, and a revenue pool that generates approx. $300 million annually.  Your advertising listing in our publications and on our website helps your business to tap in to this market more effectively at no cost.  This market place has a wide demographic that allows you to appeal to a large degree of different persons from children to seniors.

You are in Control

As the business owner you are in control of the type and amount of the discount your business offers CACard Members.  Simply discuss it with us when you sign up, and instruct your staff to look for the CACard and give the discount to CAC Members.  It?s that easy.

Easy to Participate

The CAC Partners Program makes it easy for your business to participate.  With no start up costs, and no need to renew as the program is constantly in place, the CAC Partners Program allows you business and PSP to co-operatively market our products and services to the regional marketplace.  PSP places a small point of sale information display in your store that will provide literature to interested customers about the CAC membership benefits.  A great way to inform your customers that they can benefit from your discount and in turn this will help to develop customer loyalty for your business.
