The Silver Dart Arena is truly a world class facility.  It contains two expertly maintained ice Click To View Video!surfaces, nine locker rooms with full amenities, two official's rooms, and a canteen for refreshments.  In 2005 Silver Dart has begun operating a Summer Ice program in which one pad of ice is available throughout the summer months for all to enjoy. 

The Silver Dart Arena supports the Inter Unit Sports Program as well as the Petawawa Minor  Hockey Association and the Petawawa Figure Skating Club.

Public skating is available on most Saturdays and Sundays and is  free for our CAC members. Make sure to bring your Card.  A nominal fee is applied for persons without a CAC card who wish to participate during public skating times.

Due to the nature of bookings for the ice surfaces it is always recommended that you call ahead or drop in to the Arena to verify skating times.  Public bookings are always welcome.  There is a limited quantity of equipment available to be signed out.  Please note that Minor Hockey Tournaments and Skating Competitions take precidence over CAC public Skate, so it is recommended to call ahead to verify.

Military Use: For the purpose of military use, during the period 01 April to 01 September, units will not have regular time allocated for their use, which is a change to normal allocation in place during the winter season. Units will still be able to book hourly ice times during the weekdays. Rental of ice time will have the same priority as military use and units will not be able to bump non-military rentals.
